How to use this site
This site is not a collection of stories about making money with AI. It checks whether those stories hold up, and takes apart how the money actually arrived. If this is your first visit, follow the order below.
If this is your first visit
- 1
1. Open one case
Any one from Cases. The “in plain words” box at the top is enough to see who sells what to whom.
- 2
2. Find the model that fits you
Start at Level 1 in Income models. If choosing is hard, answer the 13 questions in AI Money Finder and it ranks them for you.
- 3
3. Write your answers in the track
This is where it actually starts. Each quest asks one question; your answers collect into “My plan” and copy out as Markdown.
What each section is for
Step 1. Cases
Businesses we checked ourselves. Each carries a grade, and figures appear only when they were verified.
Step 2. Income models
The ways money arrives, sorted into Levels 1–4. Some models have verified cases attached.
Step 3. The track
Where you work through it by writing. Progress and answers stay in your browser.
Step 4. Calculators
Put your own numbers in and see what is left. Ad revenue, tool cost, break-even.
Step 5. AI tools
Other people's tools. Prices are read from the official page, with the date we checked.
Step 6. Playbooks
The sequences we pulled out of the cases, written up. Read one, then come back to the track.
Reading the grades — the important part
Every case carries A, B or C. It says how far we checked.
Grade A. The business is live, the founder is identified, and the revenue was confirmed by someone other than the founder.
→ Figures printed
Grade B. The business checks out, but revenue is only the founder's word — or was never published.
→ No figures
Grade C. Operator claims only, with limited confirmation of the business itself.
→ No figures
That is why many cases say “revenue not disclosed.” Not because there is no number, but because we do not print numbers we could not check. The method is written up on the methodology page.
Where do my answers go?
Nowhere. Your answers, your progress in the track, and the numbers you put into the calculators all stay in this browser. Nothing is sent to our server, and no account is needed.
The trade-off: it does not follow you to another device, and clearing your browser data clears it too. Copy anything important out with the Markdown button.
What this site will not do
✓ We do
- Publish only what we checked, with the date we checked it
- Write up the cases that failed or disappeared, too
- Say plainly when a case is hard to copy
✕ We do not
- Promise “do this and earn X per month”
- Print figures we could not verify
- Show only the ones that worked
Words you may not know
Words you may not know
- Verification grade
- How far we checked a case. Confidence drops from A to B to C.
- Revenue
- Everything that came in. Tools, fees and tax still have to come out.
- Subscription
- Charged every month automatically instead of once.
- Self-reported
- A number the person stated about themselves. We do not print those.
If you only have a minute
- 30 seconds — one case, just the “in plain words” box.
- 3 minutes — AI Money Finder, answer the 13 questions.
- 10 minutes — the first quest of stage 0, do its one “today” action.
